Bumpalicious Maternity Review

I was delighted to be asked to review some items from the upcoming Bumpalicious Maternity range and was even more impressed that they arrived the day afterwards. They were beautifully packaged and arrived in great condition. At first I have to admit to being a little dissapointed as the items were not necessarily pieces I would have chosen myself but after trying them on, it clearly shows that I know nothing!!

I admit that I am a fashion victim at times and have always shyed away from the "over the bump" stretchy design jeans, always opting for the under bump design. Whether this is a psychological decision, I am not entirely sure but once I had tried them on, I was converted!! They fitted perfectly and felt completely comfortable over my increasingly growing bump. My OH even commented that my bum looked better in those than in my normal jeans (watch as millions of women now rush out to buy these jeans). I am only short, so would definately need to wear them with heels but this is no problem as I live in heels (see earlier fashion victim comment) and they will be a gorgeous addition for lazy summer bbq's but am conviced that they can be dressed up for a night out at the pub too (drinking orange juice of course).

The grey vest top is extremely practical and extremely comfortable. Again, not something I would have immediately selected as I tend to go for more shoe string straps but once I have tried it on, I didnt want to take it off. In fact with the fantastically comfy jeans and grey vest top, I felt so good that I wanted to throw on my grey heels and get OH to take me out for the night!!

So in conclusion, I think that in the words of my mother "never judge a book by its cover". The Bumpalicious clothes are practical, good quality, comfortable and ultimately look great. What more do you need when you are purchasing a whole new wardrobe :-)"
